LCC Summer Studentship Grant Program

Lung Cancer Canada announces the availability of multiple $5,000 (CDN) summer studentship grants as a one-time funding opportunity.

The aim of each summer studentship is to provide support for highly qualified applicants in all areas of lung cancer health research, at all post-secondary stages, to add to their experience by engaging in health research in Canada.
 
The specific objectives of this funding opportunity are:
  • To provide biological sciences and social sciences students exposure to research related to lung cancer early in their career
  • To encourage students early in their academic training to gain awareness and an understanding of lung cancer
  • To provide an opportunity to students to work with leading researchers in lung cancer research
