New COVID-19 Vaccine Recommendations for Cancer Patients

March 26, 2021 - The Ontario Vaccine Clinical Advisory Group (VCAG) released updated guidance on COVID-19 vaccines, recommending that the interval between the first and second dose should be as per manufacturer protocol for those with immunocompromising conditions and immunosuppressive therapies.  This includes transplant patients and cancer patients on active treatment with chemotherapy, targeted therapies, and immunotherapy.
