Volunteer

As a non-profit, charitable organization, Lung Cancer Canada relies on our dedicated group of invaluable volunteers.  Volunteers are individuals who want to build a community of those who are caregivers or living with lung cancer in order to support one another and spead the word about issues facing this disease.  If you are a lung cancer patient or a caregiver of someone with lung cancer and you would like to raise awareness, educate, help others, receive support etc., we encourage you to volunteer; we have many exciting opportunities such as:

  • Peer to peer mentorship
  • Community outreach activities
  • Awareness activities
  • Fundraising opportunites

Special Event Volunteer Opportunities

Lung Cancer Canada is looking for two volunteers to help coordinate the special events at the 2017 Evening of Hope! The Evening of Hope is always an exciting event that brings people together to support lung cancer patients and their families.  In addition to helping others, it is also a lot of fun to be a part of and a great way to meet new contacts and expand your networks.
