Volunteers are the heart of our organization and help in variety of areas. Below are just a few ways in which you can get involved and help make a difference! Peer-to-Peer Mentor Our Peer-to-Peer Support Program provides people living with lung cancer and/or care partners, an opportunity to engage in knowledge, experience and supportive exchanges with others who are currently or have navigated the lung cancer journey. If you would like to enhance the lives of others in wellness and hope, we would love to have you! To inquire about becoming a Peer to Peer Volunteer, please complete the form here. Lung Cancer Canada provides peer mentors with ongoing support, professional training, and an opportunity to become a part of network of people within the lung cancer space. Local Ambassador - Community Outreach, Awareness & Advocacy At Lung Cancer Canada we offer a variety of community outreach, awareness, and advocacy opportunities all across Canada. Such events include but are not limited to; patient summits, awareness and resource sharing, knowledge exchange seminars, and more. If you would like to be a local ambassador and assist us in organizing, facilitating, and promoting events in your city, please contact us at [email protected]. Your support would help us tremendously. Fundraising Opportunities Are you interested in raising funds to support programs, services, and research in the lung cancer space?
